Its Finally Here: The Samsung Galaxy S4

Introducing The Samsung Galaxy S4:

Samsung released it brand new S4 in Apple's home turf New York earlier in the month. Even though the event was corny and cheesy they got the job done and boy weren't we surprised when they pulled the curtains.

The Heart Of The Beast:

The new addition to the Galaxy range of smartphones has the most impressive specs that we have ever seen on any phone; for instance it is powered by 8 cores of awesome or Octo-Core for those of us who live in the geek street. The processor is clocked at about 1.7 Ghz. The processor is an Exynos 5 Octo-Core. However the LTE model will not feature an Octo-Core as the core and the LTE radio will consume battery like a muscle car.

The Display:

One of the most noticeable features of the S4 is its massive 5 inch 1080x1920 screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which features a pixel density of 441 pixels-per-inch. Its design is very similar to the previous versions of Galaxy such as the Galaxy Note II and the Galaxy S3.

The Operating System:

It comes with Android Jellybean 4.2 Jellybean out of the box skinned with Samsung's own new User Interface TouchWiz 2.0.

Connectivity:

On the networks end it features very impressive 4G speeds of around 42.2 Mbps. It also features HSPA+ and 3G.
It comes in 3 variants of space 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with a 2GB RAM in each to mangae all the mutli-tasking that you are going to get done on this beast.
The LTE version will not consist of an Octo-Core processor as the LTE radio and the 8 cores will consume way too much power from the battery.
Its very light for a 5.0 inch weighing in at 130g. Its a very slim phone measuring in at around 7.9mm.

The connectivity is pretty impressive featuring NFC or Near-Field-Communication which provides a new edge to the phone on the productivity end. Bluetooth 4.0 is available just like any other smartphone in the market. WiFi too comes standard in all the variants. And strangely enough it also features an InfraRed Blaster Built-in.

Camera:

Obviously when one buys a phone this impressive without expecting a good quality high end phone; the S4 is no exception. It features a 13MP Auto-Focusing camera with a resolution of 4128 x 3096 pixels. The camera also has the capability of shooting 1080p video at a frame rate of 30 frames per second. It also has a  Second Front facing 2MP camera which also has the capability of shooting 1080p video at 30fps. The camera also has a special feature which allows you to take photos from both the camera's simultaneously bundled with the other regular features such as image-stabilization and geo-tagging.

Graphics & The Battery:

It has a PowerVR SGX 544MP3 graphics processor which handles HD games like a beast..
Obviously a beast like the S4 requires a pretty impressive battery to power the 8 Cores of awesome thats the reason why Samsung has provided a 2,600 mAh battery to power the phone throughout the day and more.
The Galaxy S4 is available in two colors Black Mist and White Frost

The Conclusion:

The S4 is one of the best phones that we have ever reviewed and seen. It certainly has earned a spot in the Tech Hall Of Hame with its impressive specs on paper and in practice. We will keep you updated onthis phone as it is yet to be officially launched which is it is set to on the 26th of this month.
