Introducing The Budgetary Smartphone From Nokia:
Hey everyone, here in the world of tech Lumia phones are coming out faster than Reese Whitherspoon movies(Yes I did just quote Jon Rettinger from TechnoBuffalo). The new contender joining the ever growing league of Lumia phones is the new Nokia Lumia 520-The Budgetary Smartphone.Display:
The new 520 features a 4.3 inche screen with a resolution of 400x800 pixels, featuring a pixel density of 223 ppi.A trend that has been discontinued in this phone is the Corning Gorilla Glass that is present on almost all other Lumia phones, instead this phone features Scratch-Resistant Glass.
Storage:
The Nokia Lumia 520 has internal storage of upto 8 GB which can be expanded upto 64 GB via micro SD card. The phone has 512 MB onboard RAM which is quite underwhelming.Connectivity:
On the connectivity end it features Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual band.Camera:
One of the major expectation's while buying a Lumia phone is a good camera; the Lumia 520 has a decent 5MP camera with a resolution of 2592x1936 pixels with the auto-focusing feature. The camera is also capable of shooting video at 720p resolution at 30 frames-per-second.
Shockingly the 520 doesn't feature a secondary camera.
Operating System:
The Operating System running on the 520 is Windows Phone 8 and that should be a no-brainer considering that the 520 is from the Lumia range of phones.Processors And Other Specs:
The engine that runs this phone is a Qualcomm MSM8227 processor, and the Graphics Processor featuring in this phone is a Adreno 305 chip which delivers decent quality games for all those hardcoregamers out there.
The sensors that feature in this phone is only an Accelerometer and a Proximity sensor.
Colors, Battery And Price:
The battery onboard is a 1430 mAh Lithium Ion Battery which provides adecent amount of charge.
The Nokia Lumia 520 is available in 5 colors that is; white, black, cyan, yellow, and red.
The 520 retails for about Rs.10,000 in India which is around $190 in the US.
